For more than 20 years, Carolina d’Ayala Valva and Walter Cipriani have developed a large know-how in the field of decoration and restoration.
They also teach decoration in Italy and abroad (France and United States of America).
They operate their activity since 1996 in the historical area of Rome for prestigious customers in public and private sectors.
In 2013, following the publication of a their book entitled “Art et Techniques de la Grotesque” (Editions Vial), the Zuber company decided to contact them for a partnership in order to create a new collection of wallpapers inspired by Carolina’s Grotesques paintings. This project is at the root of the founding of “Nina’s Home artists for textile”.
After this they decided to create their own collection of printed digital fabrics and accessories for interiors such as cushions, lampshades, tablerunners and tablecloths entirely made in Italy.
Their aim is to transfer the beauty of the natural world within the habitat.
Each design is first painted by hand as a work of art in a single original water-colored model. Then, the quality of the digital printing process allows them to reproduce the slightest nuances and brushstrokes on the fabric, preserving the charm and the originality of their hand-painted model.
Carolina and Walter would want to offer their creations to all those who appreciate a warm interior and “cozy” home with colors and patterns reminiscent of nature.
The fabrics used are natural fibres such as cotton and linen printed with “eco-friendly” colors and 100% washable. The print quality preserves the same condition of freshness over time.
The brand name “Nina’s home artists for textiles” has a very special meaning for them: their favourite animal, their dog Nina, inspires it.
In fact, she enjoys snuggling on a comfortable sofa among beautiful fabrics and “cozy” cushions.
Their success lies in their great power of differentiation.
We design ans sell fabrics, placemats, runners, tablecloths, bed linen and bags.
